Every play is based on a Formation template. We'll use offense for this tutorial but the process is the same for defense and special teams.
1
Open your playbook to the play gallery and make sure you have the "Formations" tab selected, then tap the sprocket icon in the toolbar - or - tap the "Edit Formations" button at the bottom of the sidebar.
2
We've included some example Formations, but you can add your own by tapping "New Formation"
3
Enter a name and optional notes, then tap the green checkmark in the upper right corner
4
Tap and drag positions to lay out your formation
5
You can customize the color of each position icon
6
You can enter up to two letters for the position label
7
You can also customize the icon shading - on smaller devices, you may need to scroll down to see the shading options
8
Tap the green checkmark to finish
