For consistency and convenience, you can define a template for your position colors and labels. Any new plays you create will use this template as a starting point. We’ll use offense for this tutorial but the process is the same for defense.

Open your playbook to the play gallery and tap the sprocket icon in the toolbar

Tap the Edit Template thumbnail

Tap to select a position and choose a color

You can enter up to two characters for the position label

You can also customize the icon shading - on smaller devices, you may need to scroll down to see the shading options

Tap the green checkmark to finish
If you'd like to apply any of your changes to all existing plays:

Tap the Update button

Tap to select the position attributes you'd like to apply to existing plays, then tap the Update Plays button
